Scott L. Arnold, M.D., F.A.C.P

Dr. Arnold is a native of Valdosta, Georgia. He graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology and then attended medical school at the University of Alabama School of Medicine. His postgraduate medical training was received at the Medical University of South Carolina where he served as Chief Medical Resident. He practiced at the VA in Charleston, SC, Greenville Hospital System in Greenville, SC and at the College of Community Health Sciences at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa before joining the practice in 2017. He is married to Dr. Susan Pearce Arnold and they have three sons.

Scott R. Fulgham, M.D.

Dr. Fulgham is a native of Gordo, Alabama. He graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and graduated AOA from the University of Alabama School of Medicine. His postgraduate training continued at the University of Alabama School of Medicine at Birmingham. Dr. Fulgham joined Tuskaloosa Internal Medicine in 2003 and currently serves as Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine in the College of Community Health Sciences at the University of Alabama.  He is married to Kathy and they have two sons and three daughters.

Leonard W. Jones, III, M.D.

Dr. Jones grew up in Gadsden, Alabama. He is a graduate of the University of Alabama School of Medicine. His postgraduate medical training continued at the University of Alabama School of Medicine where he served as Chief Medical Resident and Instructor in the Department of Medicine at UAB. He joined Tuskaloosa Internal Medicine in 1999, and currently serves as Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine in the College of Community Health Sciences at the University of Alabama. He is married to Kelly Jones and they have two daughters.

John P. Miller, M.D.

Dr. Miller is a native of Tuscaloosa. He graduated from Washington and Lee University and attended medical school at the University of Alabama School of Medicine. His postgraduate medical training in Internal Medicine continued at the University of Alabama School of Medicine. He is board certified in internal medicine, and has also completed a Fellowship in Hospice and Palliative Care. He joined the practice in July 2012. He is married to Ryn and they have two children.

John P. Summerford, M.D., F.A.C.P.

Dr. Summerford is a native of Falkville, Alabama. After serving as an athletic student trainer at the University of Alabama, he attended medical school at the University of Alabama School of Medicine. He received his postgraduate training at the Baptist Medical Centers in Birmingham and served as Chief Medical Resident. Dr. Summerford has practiced internal medicine in Tuscaloosa since 1987, and is board certified in internal medicine. He is a past member of the DCH Healthcare Authority Board. He currently serves as Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine in the College of Community Health Sciences at the University of Alabama. He is married to the former Leigh Ann Danner and they have two children.

Ross B. Vaughn, M.D., F.A.C.P

Dr. Vaughn grew up in Anniston, Alabama. He is a cum laude graduate of the University of Alabama School of Medicine and a member of AOA. His postgraduate medical training was received at the University of Alabama Hospitals in Birmingham. Dr. Vaughn then served as Chief Medical Resident and Instructor in the Department of Medicine at UAB. He began practicing in Tuscaloosa in 1996, and is board certified in internal medicine with recertification in 2006 and 2016. Dr. Vaughn currently serves as Clinical Adjunct Professor of Medicine in the College of Community Health Sciences at the University of Alabama and is Governor of the Alabama Chapter of the American College of Physicians. He is married to Dr. Julie Estin Vaughn and they have two children.

John S. Warren, M.D.

Dr. Warren is a native of Tuscaloosa. He attended Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee. He then attended medical school at the University of Alabama School of Medicine. His postgraduate medical training was received at the University of Alabama at Birmingham Medical Center. Upon completion of his training, he joined Tuskaloosa Internal Medicine in 2008. He is board certified in internal medicine and currently serves as Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine in the College of Community Health Sciences at the University of Alabama. He is married to Rachel and they have two children.
